Butch and Judy Clark purchased the 334 acre ranch just east of town in 1984 in hopes of creating a sustainable living center and place for youth, community, and students to gather around a more sustainable future. When Butch helped to found Coldharbour Institute in 2015, his visions for this place began to take shape.
